Why We Built This
Since Turnitin integrated AI detection into its originality reports in 2023, students have faced a significant information asymmetry: instructors can see the AI detection score on every submission, but students have no way to check their own risk before hitting submit.
This creates real consequences — from failing grades to formal academic integrity hearings — for students who had no opportunity to review or revise their work beforehand. We built this tool to give that visibility back to the writer.
